1 year agoMy Dad had a really nice system. A Sansui 9900, Dual turntable (not sure what model) and Bozak Symphony speakers. Listened to a lot of rock on that system when he was out! My first “audiophile” system was NAD separates (still have the 2200 Amp) with Polk SDA2 speakers. I don’t remember the CD player model, I believe it was a Pioneer though, I bought this while I was stationed in Germany in the 80s and at the time the dollar was super strong compared to the Deutschmark making CDs about $7 each.
Might check out Kitchen pantry cabinets, some are large enough and some have a few nice drawers behind a set of double doors that can hold some of the equipment if it is not too heavy. Can be handy when messing with wires etc…
