I didn’t want itchy… I compromised on size and went 3” thick insulation with 1”x2” oak frame. 1” stand off from wall with rubber feet. 48x24 over all panels with Acoustimac cotton fiber insulation. Helped a lot in my room.

Off sometimes when listening. On when not. Don’t want any unnecessary dust on my sticky domes!
