That’s too bad, seems like everything from the Early era Rock and Roll is fading to black. I deleted all my social media about this time last year in a effort to just decompress from the digital tether and get back to nature. I haven’t logged in over there for over a year either. Hopefully the next generation will pick up the torch. Although I am not so sure these days. Pretty sure I am the only one left in my group of music lovers that even has a system anymore. So I try and keep half a dozen going at my place to keep the balance. Hell I have tried to give friends complete stereo systems and offer to set it up for them. They don’t seem to a have the interest anymore. If not for my wife and son I’d be going to most concerts alone as well. Kinda like Hank Jr. said, All my rowdy friends have settled down.

That was my very first album I ever bought. Lost my original but bought another my birthday present to myself a few years back. Sounds so good on vinyl.

There has been some pretty sweet and unique finds in the past day or so. Three different guys scored some killer speakers, a pair of gold Jensen coaxials, a pair of Altecs with horns and a pair of Whafedale dovedale lll. A guy shared his ground up resto of a Pioneer that is going to be showcased in a Nashville recording studio. There have been a few Sansui AU series integrated amps. I saw a nice vintage silver Yamaha stack with amp, tuner and equalizer. A fella scored about a box truck of NOS gear from the 60s and 70s including at least one Heathkit kit new in the box. And that is just off the top of my head. Sure not as much traffic as Audiokarma but a lot of eye and ear candy right here as well.

It’s not a receiver it’s a integrated amplifier. I wouldn’t break that set up.
