Sennheiser 660s2 paired with an ifi Hip DAC2 Gold edition is my daily setup. Very happy with it. I also have mobile setups, buds 2 pro or a set of porta pro with yaxis fed off a btr5.

I have the 660s2 and the ifi hip dac2 works perfectly to power them. Plenty of headroom (extra volume) to work with on low gain plus it has an xbass feature that adds a lot of texture and warmth to your s2. Highly recommend it, bonus points if you get it in Hugh Heifner gold like me. I feel like a pimp w it lol

So from what ive noticed from MY OWN TESTING is once you have enough power to drive a headphone with an amp in low gain, you get more dynamic range. Idk the science behind it but the music sounds more even in low gain to me. It isnt as graiting or as sharp. Maybe its my dac/amps (btr5 and ifi hip dac 2) but i notice it too friend it isnt only you

Did they get on the drivers themselves, the connecters or just the tips? Sorry to hear all 3 of your iems got swamped… Dry them on a towel but try not to press on them too hard especially if it hit the driver part. Hope theyre salvagable, thats a lot of coin to lose in an instant, bro.
