Amps sound different they always have its unique characteristics. At the end get what you can afford and like to hear everyone is different.
Personally I had a arcam avr31 sounds great and went to a McIntosh 8950. The sound was a lot more forward in my face I have no clue how that happens but it’s not something I cared about to I’m going back to arcam
I did have buyers remorse For spending so much and because I could have gotten nice stuff used Also i try to not think about it and try do it as a “investment” into my future something I can look back knowing I will have it for many years and not like my cars that I switch them every 6 months
Take the advice on speakers and amps he gave you and buy them else where and buy Mogami 3104 cables, and for power conditioner can’t complain about a furman
Yes, I’m constantly listening to music I don’t listen to in my car because it doesn’t sound good and you can tell it was recorded poorly
Best speakers I’ve ever heard were Sonus Faber Aida paired whit McIntosh monoblocks which was the set up that made me get into this hobby and recently also heard the kef blade whit same amps … all sounds amazing a lot has to do whit room acoustics to really get to enjoy it more
