I have some early 90’s stuff that was my first foray into the world of McIntosh. MC7150 amplifier + C38 preamp. People go nuts over their 70s-80s stuff , but I have yet to hear anything (solid state) that outperforms this setup. Tubes are another story, but that’s apples to very expensive oranges.
