Thanks for sharing. I have the Lintons littler (but older) brother (Dentons 80th Anniversary) and it makes me want to upgrade as soon as I can.
I had a pair of Concept 20’s for a while (still have them actually) and thought they were amazing for their size. Beautiful build quality too.
Lovely. What do you power them with?
One is a source and the other a recipient? Just a thought. Maybe it’s just a question of point of view…
Those are standard full size amps, so you don’t need anything specific to them.
Clinical is the word you’re looking for I think. It applies equally to that type of room and the equipment it houses.
Depending on your question r/BudgetAudiophile and r/vintageaudio could be good places. Also try to be as clear as possible and as detailed as might be necessary.
They obviously get used for a fair bit of time, by staff first and then demoing to customers.
Indeed some of it is totally unnecessary. I was gifted the 50th anniversary issue of Tom Waits’ “Closing Time” for my 50th and it is spread over two records, which I find totally irritating. I would much prefer having the standard issue. I guess 20-odd minutes per side works for me as it’s what I grew up with, when more than two sides was only justified for double albums.
None as you have an amplifier already, and you don’t seem bothered with the radio.
