Open backs are pretty audible in the same room but you won’t hear them if there’s a wall in between. Kind of like someone playing a video on their phone at very low level.

Is that compared to an EQ’d 560s or stock?

In all seriousness though, I don’t think that’s normal and you might want to consult a doctor.

It has ambient/transparent mode which uses the mics to let through/amplify sound around you. It sounds like you have that on? Make sure to activate the full ANC, it should be better than Bose.
