My 2021 MX-5 had the worst audio of any modern car I’ve heard.

Not so much the system but I recently treated my room. Without as much reverb/reflection I’m hearing straight up mixing mistakes - like badly timed gates and fades - in a lot of songs that I never noticed before and it can be distracting.
