Yeah, I’m just coming to terms with this. I like good sound stage but overly detailed equipment just sounds thin to me and doesn’t hit me in the feels.

The Sony, Bose and air pods have the best noise cancelling, but the audio quality might not be quite audiophile level.

Focal Bathys will be better audio quality but not as good noise cancelling. Another option would be something like Samsung Buds Pro 2, they are true wireless IEMs. They sound great and have decent noise cancelling.

Personally if my goal was noise cancelling I’d get the Sony XM4 or XM5 they have the best noise cancelling and the sound good enough for riding on a bus drive.
