you’re good. c200 is solid. ASR said so and I got one.
I’ve been lucky finding good yamaha avr at goodwill CL etc. Any good 100 watt with sub out will do. I like yamaha but denon is good too, some sony and onkyo are cool. Techno is usually good with a hall effect and too much bass.
Kinda. Ideally your speaker playing a cello sounds exactly like a cellist sitting there. You can only get pretty good, it is not attainable. If you got really really close to that, Would AC/DC also sound correct, or the blu ray of Woodstock? Get pretty good and enjoy.
get a sansui “acoustic expander” and big ol speakers.
Peerless xls. excellent roi. lots of good choices though
High end amps are the new snake oil. Also the old snake oil.
Yes. That is the way. The only way. The music producer includes tone, reverb, “sound stage”. Source and pre amp only need to be clean. Amp makes it bigger like you say. Dynamic range also matters. Speakers are trickier, phase, imaging, and a few other things beyond flat response. Good UI and aesthetics are very welcome. Reliability is important. Price is important.
dunno. my favorite fit. Soundpeats are cheap and have an excellent group of ear pieces.

With a device and microphone. If you’re really trying to equalize the room, before adding any preference to the settings. DBX pa2, or similar. Yamaha, Marantz and Denon have good room equalizer programs. Pretty good.
keep both. enjoy nad. when it dies, enjoy the Kenwood
