Yes sound is lower, but even when i equalize both sounds from hyperx dongle and apple dongle, apple one is more muddy.

Im definetly aware of the danger going down dac/amp path, thats why wanted to try this cheap dongle first, i guess i will buy Akg K361 or something instead going to dac route.

Odd part is, bass is better with apple dongle but thats about it, maybe they sent me fake dongle.

Sound is definetly less clean when apple’s dongle used.
