I have Senns Momentum M2 and I love them. I received them broken in transit around 5 years, fixed them and since used.

Now that I’ve replaced battery and earpads with new replacements I’m wondering if there’s room for replacing internal electronics with something newer, that would have support for latest BT features and codecs.

I’m thinking about either salvaging electronics from some other less premium headphones or getting a DIY module. Would it be possible to retain ANC functionality somehow?
