So, im upgrading my ~10 years old Dynaudio DM 2/7 to polk r700. Always wanted floorstanders, but lived in an apartment before.

Also my yamaha as701 to rotel rc-1572 with a D-amp NCore NCX500 modules.

This will be my endgame. In the long run it will be prolly fine, but having abit buyers remorse now.

    Buyers remorse tier list:

    S: hd800s, abyss diana (can’t remember which version but it was an earlier model), ath-50s, qudelix 5k, DCA expanse

    A: >$100 headphones cables, chord qutest, schiit mjolnir

    B: topping a90/d90 but only because of price

    C: nos tubes. New production tubes work fine for me. But I still collect nos for fun

    These are purely a taste thing and dont mean any are bad. Except the qudelix. That thing is unbearably gritty.
