Just a guess, I would push the edge of the plastic cover at that line on the body at the 10 o’clock position. That’s how other wall mounted CD player open. It may open where you push the edge of the cover or it may open directly opposite at the 5 o’clock position.

It seems that it’s tilted off center - if the line on the body at 10 o’clock was rotate to 12 o’clock the warning label would be aligned parallel with the ground.

A guess: The T-shaped slot at about 10 o’clock is probably a clue. If the catch for the lid is there, press that edge. If that’s where the hinge is, press at the opposite location, 4 o’clock.

I suspect it’s a twist to unlock and open style.

if you notice at the 12 o’clock position there is a molded circle on both the clear shield and the case it self.

I think you are meant to twist the clear shield counter clockwise till the half circle reaches the T.

Maybe sliding something in T-slot will open it? I would guess that’s where the lock is hidden.
