Apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place - first post here, longtime lurker. But I’ve been wondering if anyone here has any thoughts on the quality of the phono stage that is integrated into this amplifier. What external stage would you compare it to in terms of sound quality / price point?
Another way to frame this: What price point would a separate phono stage / preamp have to be in roughly to have something that would outperform the one box solution?

Marantz have always had decent phono stages in their integrateds. you’d have to spend a lot more to achieve significantly better results. Best to just upgrade your cart or stylus.
