I really like the 9200. They have a lively sound signature and natural sounding vocals, which IMO not many closed back headphones get right. I wish the ear cups design was better (full over ear design like Sennheiser would be ideal), but they’re still comfortable for long listening sessions. I use them for movie watching when there’s too much noise to use my HD800s. Purchased from eBay as open box for about $1k.
BTW I bought (and returned) a Sony MDR-Z1R recently and thought they were awful. Really cool soundstage but bloated bass that bled into the midrange. I was honestly shocked with how bad the bass was, considering online reviews I had read.

Oh thank God someone else agrees with me about the Z1R bass I thought I was going insane
