A full McIntosh audio system with Sonus Faber Aida Speakers
I saw this post on FB, I’m a novice but my dad has some Mcintosh and I know it’s pricey.
out of interest, what’s it worth?
How much would it cost? I’d estimate 2 divorces
if you have to ask it’s too much
Hmmm one penny farthing
I dunno. At a glance, a quarter mill’?
Or you could get a Mac4100 and a pair of tannoy Arden’s for $3-4k.
I had a 4100 hooked up to klipschhorns. I’m sure the Tannoys sound better, but I could raise the roof of our 1,600 sqft ranch with that setup. Huge fun!
Way more than you need to pay for an amazing sounding stereo setup. This sort of gear is good yes, but it’s also basically half jewelry.
More than you can afford, pal. MACINTOSH.
I cannot even imagine how much!
More than the total lack of acoustic treatments and room considerations this rich idiot threw that Deathstar in.
At least four.
Try Google. Then use a calculator to add it up.
What I imagine Darth Vaders setup look like
It just costs too much. Although I‘m prety sure it sounds nice, but its look is … I‘d rather have a good small setup and stack it on the pile of banknotes
My relationship
Both cost and worth!
And duration
Too much! But I’m sure it sounds great in a room with all that glass nearby and seemingly no acoustic treatment.
This. I can’t get it, without an acoustic treatment it is Like to drive Ferrari on a sandy countryside road.
My wife likes the sandy road and I like my Ferrari. Do you now get it?
Like the Whistlin Diesel of audio equipment
McIntosh is the Rolls Royce of audio equipment. It’s “nice”, luxurious, and portrays a certain image. The quality and care is evident, no doubt. That’s all I’ll say about that.
I think this is just the photo for the facebook marketplace ad, or maybe the buy nothing group.
