I’m fortunate to have a Marantz 2245 with the engraved, champagne face plate (doesn’t look all that champagn-y to me. Maybe it’s meant to be subtle). It works flawlessly but I’m thinking it’s worth correcting two cosmetic issues. At some point, someone attempted to refinish the wood case and it looks lousy in a few spots. I also had a few lamps replaced and the new ones are slightly brighter. Should I replace all the lamps so they’re all the same brightness? And I know a guy who could restore the wood case for a decent price. What do you think? Worth it?!

I’ve got the LED lights in my 2238. It looks great!
Good to know.
I’m not a fan of LED I prefer old new stock myself but that’s just my preference but do clean up the wood case.
