Is this normal wear and tear on DT770? I have them for over a year and half but only noticed it yesterday, I have never carried them in a backpack nor have I dropped them.

It seems like the other side is starting to fall apart as well.

Have to say that I have had 0 issues with them sp far.

    I’ve never had an issue with them but that seems to the common failure point if they do fail. Easy fix at least.

    I’ve got an older pair and haven’t broken them yet.

    But that piece can easily be bought at beyerdynamic

    There’s plenty free 3D print model of those I think.
    You can use 3D print service which should be fairly easy to find online, and get tons of dem replacements at cheaper cost.
    Instead of getting official one.
