I just moved in with my gf and I want to bring my speakers but she has cats and I’m scared the cats will tip them over. For context the speakers are heavy and the stands really aren’t too heavy. Maybe I should just buy sturdier stands. Any other advice?
I feel your pain. Our cats were knocking my speakers off the stands and over all over the show and scratching the covers (which I left on because I didn’t want them scratching woofers and tweeters). I ended up switching my nice new stand-mounts and stands for some old, used curb-side find big fuckers (granted, they are Paradigm 7s) that I can put on the floor until the remaining cat meets its untimely demise…
