absolutely. a good TV will do the same thing. makes the good stuff way better and the bad stuff worse. anybody who says otherwise, i question their ears.
the good news is, for every song that sounds worse, theres another that sounds better.
it takes a great system to really appreciate so much stuff from the 70’s. it will sound wimpy on mid systems. but if you can reproduce all that glorious midrange well, it really comes alive.
