So I was trying a pair of Bose QC ultra headphones in my local electronics shop. As soon as I played the first song, something was off. There’s a kind of suffocating, throbbing feeling you get in your chest. So I downloaded the bose music app, connected the headphone to the app, opened the EQ settings and this is the default.

This screenshot speaks for itself. There’s just way too much bass. I don’t think I enjoyed them even after EQing, the bass just chokes out the mids and treble, but your milege may vary. To people who can’t be bothered to EQ, stay away from these. To people who can be bothered, I stil think you should try before spend $475.
