I’m always confused at the buying of two subs and then placing them symetrically at the front of the room. Might as well just have one since you’re not getting the benefit of having two. Setup looks nice though.
Are those exceptionally long or just look that way in the pic?
Not true at all. If your AVR has separate left and right subwoofer channels, you can get stereo subs to match your stereo speakers. It also provides a much more even response. I always have two subs and always put them up front.
Sorry but both subs up front is basically never going to be the best placement or provide the most even response. Because you always put them in front does not make it the ideal location. It isnt.
I know. A lot of people seem to just not care about room acoustics at all and just enjoy buying new stuff to get that high of a new thing to play with. Someone buys a new 5000€ amp looking to get a wider soundstage when all they could’ve done is set their speakers apart a few inches more for free.

For movies, yes. For music, you want a front stage. I’ve already explained this to you above.
Not ideal but better than a singular sub still.
Yeah probably true. Its just surprising how often I see it with really nice high end stuff. Most room nulls arent going anywhere this way.

Awesome thanks. I’ll definitely experiment with this!
Yeah I agree tbh. One of these is plenty. They are quite long but the photo might be over emphasising that slightly.
Personally I like things looking symmetrical 😁
I’m currently running them in mono setup but the AV10 allows directional left right options too so I night experiment with that at some point.
