Im wondering how much these companies pay him to keep their IEM on top?
I personally think his list is a very good reference point for beginners, and I personally refer to his list as well before making a purchase.
But there are obvious places where some things don’t belong, ex blessing 2 being above many kilobuck IEM’s, due to tonality/technicality.
Like the 64 audio U12t being below two moondrop IEM’s??
I can agree with the tonality part being subjective, but technicality?
I’ve listened to both the blessing 2 and other IEM’s and moondrop clearly lacks on that end.
I can state many other examples, but this one is the most prevalent.

You really should remove this post ASAP. You can say what you want about his rankings, but to imply that his top spots are paid, in one of the biggest headphone forums, is 100% defamation and legally actionable (atleast in the US).

1)I did not publish anything, neither do I have any solid evidence, it is purely speculation.
2)Largest headphone forums my ass. Barely 5000 people even saw it.

This is why I don’t take his list too seriously.
I think what it boils down to is crinnacle values frequency response/graphs way, way more than things like timbre, technicalities, etc. Otherwise there’s no way many of the rankings remotely make sense.
He gets paid to promote vendors, not specific brands or IEMs. He gets paid to contribute to developing some IEMs, but those are the ones he doesn’t review or put on his ranking lists.
Saying he gets paid to keep specific IEMs at the top of his list is saying he is a shill and is deliberately lying to mislead readers. Is that what you are saying?
idk , he stated that Variation is better resolving than EXT and Tia Trio. I didn’t own them at the same time to test them so I kinda assume that he’s right.
