for me it was and still is the meze 109 pro
it is just perfect sounding in every aspect for me. and the treble is no issue for mye anymore. it is a fun, easy driven headphone.

I really like my Audio Technica ATH-M50x’s. I don’t need an EQ or an amp with them. My almost-issue with them would be the soundstage, but even that isn’t bad.
