Hello, I got this mini-hifi set like 5-8 years ago as a birthday present I believe. I’ve used my from time to time but out of courtesy I don’t play explicit music nor loud music and I’m playing games 99% of the time I don’t use it. I am now at college working through my sophomore year.

Anyways, are these good? I’ve got a FLAC library I like to listen to in my car (JBL premium set) and on my Bose qc35 ii. Will I hear the difference on these speakers?

Also I ask because i want to bring them to college. The new hall I’m in I share with four of my buds and the walls are thick concrete meaning I could blast some shit. I don’t want to annoy my pals though so courtesy would remain, my roomie also has a set of desk speakers which sound lound but they are his so I don’t use them. So are these worth bringing?

I’m not crazy on audiophile but I’ve heard the lossless difference on music (most not all) and am a CompSCI major so I understand data and how it’s literally better for lossless than lossy audio.
