I found both a couple of Indiana Line Tesi 204 for about $70 and a Pioneer Sa-5500 ii for $90 in a thrift store in Northern Italy.

I’m not sure of their condition yet, but do you think it will be a good combo? I’m an absolute beginner at vintage audio. I’m not even sure those speaker can be properly considered vintage. Alternatively, I found in another store a couple of Akai akai SR-SA3 at about $70. There’s not much on the web about them. They seem very similar to the more known akai SR-SF3. whatdio you think?

Well, yes, even if the amplifier seems a little weak it would have probably been worth a try. Sadly, I just got to the store and the amplifier has just been sold! But I got hold of the Indiana line, at least. Now I’m going to reach another store where they should have the following amplifiers:

    Yamaha HTR-5030RDS amp/receiver

    Denon AVR-2805 amp/receiver

    Teac A-X400DC

    Technics SU-610

    Technics SU-V300

    Technics SU-V470

    Kenwood KA-1060

    Luxman LR-2500RS

I am aware some of them are not probably vintage, but what do you think? Especially in combination with the Indiana Line Tesi 204?
