Not DIN, but a Japanese industry norm…17” give or take. Something to do with their conveyer belts, I heard somewhere…

Flashback! I had one of these setups new in 1977 plus the matching cassette deck, Marantz turntable, JBL L100’s and a Tandberg reel to reel. Wish I still had them!

I used two similar integrated amps to power the output from my Akai four-track tape recorder

I love this. It’s so much like, and may be the same pair, as the Kenwood units that my fraternity brother/roomie had around 1980. We coupled them with four Infinity Qe speakers and it was magic. Rounded it out with a Pioneer PL-530 turntable and Kenwood cassette deck (can’t remember model). I would love to have that setup, now.

Love the small format Kenwood. Have the KA 3500 without meters and KT 5300 tuner. Two KA 5500 (55 WPC) with meters. Other Kenwoods KA7100 with KT7500, KA8300 and KT7300 tuner. Purchased the KA8300 and tuner new in 1977. Still going strong.
