The CEO of Synergistic Research runs a Facebook group called “Audio Subjective” that’s mostly just him encouraging rich dipshits to spend tons of money on his cables because, well, audio is subjective and you should just believe your ears. It’s hilarious.
Then there’s another group called “Audio Bullshit” that’s basically a bunch of audio engineers and the like continually talking shit on him and other snake oil brands.
Both highly worth a look if you are on FB and want a laugh, if they are still around.

About 15 years ago Ted Denny got involved in several lengthy threads on the Stereophile forums marketing his audiophile gizmos. If you make the effort to read them (and it will be an effort given the change to Stereophile’s software which made their forums pretty much unusable) his slip ups will help answer the question whether he is an honest deluded snake-oil salesman or a dishonest calculating snake-oil salesman.
I have only watched the first few sentences of the video and don’t have enough information to know why the chap is making statements that would be straightforward to disprove if you were in the room with him. It will be serving his interests but to know how and why would require further information.
What kind of got my interest was that this is a studio were music is recorded and mixed, I don’t see the need to really go down that route with all the stuff talked in the video. Thank you for your input.
