Got these Cornwall IVs from my local dealer and I’m blown away. I find myself tilting my head with my go to albums, because these bring out certain details I didn’t hear from my previous speakers (wharfedale denton and linton).

Very different sound from the relaxed British sound that I’m used to but can’t deny that these speakers rock.

Paired the cornwalls with a Line magnetic tube amp and a Lenco L70.

Congratulations on the Cornwalls horns rule! And good job driving them with tubes as they should be, nice looking room too. Looks like you’re pressed for space but if you can pull them out a bit more if not just enjoy them as they are.

Isn’t the corn in the cornwall name related to something about the corner?

Corner/wall… they sound good with lots of different placements. Mine are in the middle of a long wall, 6” from the wall and toed-in a bit. They sound great and do not lack in low-end at all (likely helped by lots of vintage pioneer power). I actually unhooked my SVS sub as it wasn’t needed even for modern EDM and hip-hop

Thank you! Yeah I’m still playing around with the positioning. Im pressed for space, but overall, I’m still happy with the sound and imaging.
