Hi guys, first time doing something like this but I love the advice and also the roasts people receive here on their setups. Just moved in an old apartment and had to manage with what furniture I got. Not sure why, but I feel like my setup shines differently than before. I suppose proper speaker placement really makes a difference. Can I improve something in here? Also, I’d like to know if I can reduce the noise my neighbors hear through these brick walls(without massive investments if possible).

Another thing I wanted to ask: A bluesound node is on its way in this setup so I can stream tidal properly, and also have the tv go into it. I wonder if any of you know if its worth it to connect my current fiio bta30 pro dac to the node or let the node do the processing. Thanks!

Can’t see the rest of your room but it seems like you probably need a bit of softening - maybe an area rug and some acoustic panels on the walls? Those old apartments didn’t really do party walls very well, so sounds transfer is always an issue. Adding some acoustic treatment will not only help with neighbours hearing your music but it will also improve the sound in your listening space.

A rug was the next in the list. I’ll look into acoustic panels cause it seems they would be the best addition. Thanks!
