I know on eBay they asking slot , but I’m not asking to get rich lol just enought to get by so it does have a little buzz when first hit power but it goes away once warming, I know it is heavy as of mailing it so if you can make me an offer and pay for shipping I’d hate to let it go but I will as I need to get by on bills before I fall behind so I’m just want it to go to someone who will appreciate the quality of the old .

Sorry about your $ issues. A local vintage shop sold some restored AU models for $700-800 each. eBay will take their cut of your profit plus shipping and state tax. So your $700 with free shipping ($50 shipping) will maybe net you $575 or less. CL will get you a bunch of scammers and low ball offers. Or worse somebody who shows up to buy then haggles. Hopefully you will be in better shape shortly. Later you will regret selling this.

Last time, I used eBay (last year) to sell some things. Ebay fees, etc. came to around 30%+ of the total every time. So if they sold for 700, they’d walk away with under 490. ebay isn’t good for sellers rn.

Thank you but like I said I don’t need a profit just a little to help me and to know it will go to a good person who will use and enjoy it in their home is way better than flipping for profit.

That’s what I’ve seen on eBay some at that price not even working for parts but I personally don’t trust eBay as to many prices on same products way to many different prices on coins just anything for sale not one are the same too low or way highno middle I don’t want to give it away nor charge way to much just to go to a good home to be enjoyed. Believe me I’m looking into all options or opinions.

Well, as you mentioned in other replies, it needs some servicing, it will cost another 100-250 depending on an internal state. IMO, 400-450 is a fair range.

Wish you luck (not ironic) in finding new home for that beauty and figuring out your situation!

Thank you that’s what I was thinking about 400 without shipping fee 450 if they pay shipping I definitely like 400 depending on who appreciates it I may go little lower it’s hard to know who is right for it and price is something I’m not really used to doing I’m a person that doesn’t sell much of anything as it’s hard earned.

What will you do once it’s gone and the Money is gone, you just can’t replace that Sansui if you ever see one again and if you’re that broke working at McDonald’s couldnt hurt and will hurt your pride but Pride doesn’t pay the bills but McDonald’s would

Your best option is either be a seller on eBay or reverb, and then once the item sells, then you will send the item. Don’t send it before it’s been paid for.

That machine is worth more than 200. My guy, I would hold out if you’re serious about selling that vintage system for a better offer, but do what you must if the situation calls for it.

Thank you I’m not desperate I’m just wanting it to be used and it’s never going to die lol it’s just I’m into music guitars , drums and I travel as I’m a truck driver so not much time powering it on , it needs to be used and appreciated. I have only a week to go than my income will be in the flow . But to the right person I would sell it .

That’s good but get more out of it if all possible you can probaly achieve a good 500 to 600 dollars if in a pristine condition, I reveiw tons of products and have been spending the week reviewing Amplifiers and sansui is a wonderful sadly finished company but an excellent brand non the less.

Do you have other stuff to sell? The Sansui will not decrease in worth, but if you have any other modern device you don’t need (phone, tablet, laptop, bluetooth stuff, mini-hifi, etc), those are worth selling as their worth will likely just drop.
As others have said, don’t sell it unless your situation is absolutely critical.
