My first impression of the studio 4 so far has been good. The sound is neutral with the main focus on mids. Most of my iems are boosted in bass, so I am happy to say that the bass of the studio 4s are better than the graph shows. the vocals and instrumentals are the best out of my collection and the treble are not harsh at all. I was cautioned about the BA bass and timbre, but I still can’t tell what that is so far.
Some minor faults are the vacuum effect the unvented design creates but I am sure I’ll get used to it. Also, I am used to everything sounding bright and boomy, so the realistic and rich presentation will take some brain reset to get used to.

The converse of the unvented design is better isolation.
