I have recently been handed down some speakers and a stereo from a family member. They gave me 2 jbl n24s n26s a n center and a mirage ms-12 subwoofer. The stereo with the speakers is a pioneer vsx-82txs, I am new to these kind of things and was wondering yalls opinion ionion on the sound quality of these. And if they would be worth keeping and making the space for.

    So this is a Home Theatre setup and would be best used for that. Music reproduction will be middling. This is the kind of stuff you would have picked up at Bestbuy circa 2007.

    The Pioneer was pretty good when new but it’s 15+ years old now so not worth much and has old tech.

    The speakers are forgettable from when JBL was making some pretty poor products.

    If you don’t have anything else you might as well use it.
