Hmm Isn’t this a rebrand of the Syba sonic or is the Syba sonic a rebrand of this ?

Either way they’re not very good. Better off with an Apple dongle than this.

It’s a lot more powerful than the Apple dongle. Apple dongle does around 38mW max, this is claiming 140mW. You may not need it but if you do this could be a better bet. Plus volume knob and all the other stuff.

As someone who has both… No this is better than the Apple DAC.

As someone who has both, no it isn’t. The frequency response on this is wonky and slightly boosts the mid-bass and reduces the lower treble. The output impedance is also very high further impacting the frequency response of headphones with variable impedance.

You may like the impact on the frequency response and that’s great for you. But from an objective standpoint of getting a transparent amp/DAC this is not a good product.

Yeah unless you really want a knob and those dedicated outputs/inputs. Otherwise quality sound and price wise, apple dongle is goated!

Thats an amazing dac/amp for the price, between that and a $200 dac amp you probably won’t hear much of a difference in quality but channel imbalance at low gain and noise at high high can get pretty bad on those but if just general dac amp usage it’s perfectly fine.

I have one and they suck. You’d get better sound from a pc motherboard these days.
