Great find. I own that same model. My introduction to Sennheiser was a pair of thrifted 580s. Just needed a new headband and cables.

Vintage? Uh. No. But nice pick up and fix.

I have a pair of HD-555’s that I bought new 20 years ago and they have given me nearly two decades of great sound. My daughter uses them with her Keyboard now, they still sound fantastic. Picked up a pair of HD-660S’s last year. Sennheiser will always be my go to brand for cans.
