I’ve seen so many negative and mediocre reviews for these IEMs, in my opinion, they sound really good. It’s really strange to see positive reviews for a set that sounds similar but with a really worse tonality like the Aful Magic Ones.

The build quality of the aria 2 is one of the best seen in iems on that price range, for that amount of money you have very well built iems, a cable that alone would cost half of the price, a very nice case that you find in more expensive iems.

The sound is very balanced but not boring, we have an excellent “color” in the mid bass which finally makes the voices right and full.

As for gaming, this is an excellent set, the mid-highs are boosted just right to give you a feeling of space and high details.

Thank you for reading!

Haven’t heard it myself but I believe its an excellent tuning, same as all the rest of MoonDrop’s single DDs. And therein lies the problem; if you already own something with this tuning, then there is no reason for you to sidegrade to the Aria2. Also I find that $90 is a bit high for most newcomers to the hobby, so even though its the newest generation of MDs single DDs I don’t know that I’ll personally be recommending it to anyone.

No shade to Aria2 though, I expect it to sell just as well as the rest of the MD lineup. I remember a lot of shade being thrown at Aria SE on launch as well, even tho current opinion seems to have shifted in favor of it and I’ve seen enough customer photos to convince me that people are buying it despite the similarly lukewarm reviewer takes.

I have a hunch mediocre reviews are pouring out because Moondrop keeps reusing their target over and over again with zero originality to speak of…

What was a big deal maybe 4 years ago is now just another IEM in the saturated market.

    Just my 2 cents.

Most of your comment involving iems are mediocre tbh.

You use the word objectively a lot, but I don’t think you understand what that word means.

You also seem overly obsessed with “neutral tuning” and crinacles ratings.

      3/10

Let’s hope they anodized the body this time, or the “great” build quality won’t last long.

Mine arrived today. They are decent for the price.

Build quality is really good, the shells are small and fell solid and well made. The included cable is nice with a modular connector which includes 3.5mm SE and 4.4mm Balanced.

If you have more expensive sets, it’s not going to blow you away, but for the price, the set is pretty good.

It’s a warm safe tuning, that will appeal to most people and won’t sound bad with any type of music tbh.

I’d definitely recommend the Aria 2 if you’re looking for an iem in this price range, but not really sure what tuning you’re after and concerned you might purchase a set that may not be to you liking.

Honestly they look great, and they’re tuned really similar to the Aria SE which I have and really love, I don’t get the hate either tbh, it’s a solid upgrade on a familiar tuning that works

I wanna get these but I’m gonna wait. I like the OG Arias but the paint started peeling after a month of use. I wanna see if these have the same issue.

about the nozzle change. is it full filter + nozzle, or you remove the nozzle so you can change the filter?
