I am using the thin RCA cables that came with it. The Node can also do optical, coax, and usb.

My Parasound Hint 6 has a built in dac of its own. It’s being bypassed by the Node dac via RCA.

Have you found better sound quality using one output over another?

    My Arcam SA20 has a DAC of its own. I’ve been using the coax out of the Node.

    I’ve actually got both RCA and coax connects hooked up. I did a little A/B testing when I first set it up but my ears didn’t hear a huge difference between the two DACs.
