JDS products are great, I have been rocking my The Element gen1 for years now…
Now I’m not sure what to buy. Element 3 mk2 (boosted) or the atom 2 stack. The usb-c is a nice inclusion… I wish they had that on the element 3 as well.
It seems like the element stuff has gotten refreshed shortly after the Atoms previously- maybe it’ll happen again.
I emailed JDS labs and it doesn’t seem like that’ll be the case, at least into 2024.
Looking forward to buying this for PS5 when the usb-c fallback cable is available. Whats the difference between the original first one
Anybody used the stack for gaming? I’m really interested in buying it as my first amp & dac set.

Hopefully the metal chassis helps with the heat dissipation. My Atom stack gets so hot I ended up separating them.

They should’ve done away with proprietory AC power input whose replacements aren’t available anywhere else if there is a warranty claim and we end up paying for shipping on that too.
