Maybe try using EQ to the DT1990 before buying a new headphone?

You’ve paid serious money for this one and if you like their look and feel, why not try to make them sound pleasing?

Here are suggested setting for Analytic Earpads and Balanced Earpads.

If you’re new to the concept of parametric equalization or Harman Target, look it up. It’s really worth it.

Definitely give EQ a try. I tweak my T5’s only slightly in mid and it makes them perfect.

Oratory 1990 surely has some settings you can try, or you can just adjust yourself in the frequency ranges.

In my experience, switching to another headphone will just mean something else to be unhappy with.

    female or male vocals?

the Sennheisers definitely have a ton less bass, but the female vocals are also less clear…

if it’s about male vocals, then yeah, the Sennheisers might be a bit more neutral.

Mostly female vocals I have the hd 560s and tbh they sound clear on the vocals not sure if it’s just the way the headphones are or I got a defective pair
