The comparison is between Apple’s $130 USB-C vs Amazon Basics $12 USB-C vs generic $3 USB-C.

I have my doubts that audiophile branded USB cables are anywhere near as sophisticated as Apple’s high dollar cable.

Would you be willing to pay nearly 50 times more for Apple’s cable transport your 24/192 audio signal?

Each one showed is a different technology of product. I said it in the Youtube comments and said it when this was previously shared a while ago when it came out. The whole xray stuff is neat, and yes, there are some variations in how things are constructed, but the technologies between thunderbolt, USB, and charging cable are different things. Plus you can’t blindly make inferences on quality or longevity without testing. Even if a design “looks” cheap, the method may actually be a longer lasting, more proven solution. It doesn’t even help that there’s also dumb issue with expensive Apple cords, like the lack of cord grips on literally everything they make, and like all of them breaking to a level where it’s pretty much a meme at this point.
