It’s extremely light. Blocks out all the construction noises out of my condo. What’s most importantly, it doesn’t hurt at all.

Most headphones that I have used made me feel quite uncomfortable and irritating after wearing them for too long.

And I was hesitating between this one(Bose qc45) and Sony xm5. At last I chose the comfort over the sound quality I guess. But one flaw is that the labiodental is too obvious.

I also just got my QC45, testing them out. Really comfortable, good sound, but I have a problem with them. White noise is really noticeable to me when ANC is on. Almost not noticeable when playing music. Do you hear any white noise?

I got the QC Ultra’s a few weeks ago and I don’t remember ever being happier with a headphone purchase. And that’s after going all the way up to $2k IEM’s, various mid-tier things that needed amps, modded ones, and, most recently, half-baked ideas that shouldn’t have made it out of prototyping (Audeze Maxwells).

I’m sure they’re similar to the QC45’s and the new QC’s and Bose doesn’t get much respect in these circles so just thought I’d add to your sentiment here. Supremely comfortable (a wildly underrated element), convenient, and the ANC and sound quality have come in well past my expectations. I didn’t even want ANC and now leave it on all the time.

I just hope that when these die they’ll be selling something similar.

my choices were a second pair of airpod max , xm5, or bose ultra and QuietComfort… all very affordable for black friday sales at BB. I went with airpod max something about the audio just steals the show vs airpod pro’s first gen even…
