I have a few audiophile PF LP pressing and I’m looking for the best pressing of The Wall. Can’t seem to find anything relevant so far except “Japanese pressing is the best” or “no it’s not worth the Greek pressing” etc… so I thought I’d ask you guys some advice! Sorry if the question had already been asked 50 times. I have a G+ 79’ german harvest pressing as well as remastered reissue from 2016 which sounds decent but very very noisy. Hence why I’m looking for something different and better in the best case. Edit: I’m talking about LP records, not CDs!

I have the 2012 remaster pressed at RTI. No surface noise, pressings are flat. Nice sound, nothing to complain about, but I don’t have any other pressings to compare it to.

    Discogs listing of it

I had this 2012 one as well as the 2016, and ended up selling the 2012. I must’ve done it because I preferred the 2016 (and both were wet cleaned with a RCM). But now I’m not so sure… I do remember it was a very close call.

Wish they would do a proper audiophile version, it was my first and still my favourite PF album
