I recently bought a pair of iems. The detail in the top end is very nice, but the bass is very weak. this differs from reviews I have seen. I want to love these iems. I have cheaper iems with more balanced sound.

If I got it right, you have Thieaudio Elixirs which maybe have a little bit less midbass than you are used to, but looking at the graph they have quite a bit of subbass.
Fitting plays a significant role for bass. If it doesn’t fit well enough, you’re basically wearing earbuds.
