This is the cable for my Sennheiser headphones. does is have a particular name??? Mine isn’t working properly and I’ve been trying so hard to find a new one to buy but nothing comes up in my country with just searching for it. I don’t know what the thinner part is called.

I believe it is a cable with one end being 3.5mm and the other being 2.5mm. you can search for that or a sennheiser momentum replacement cable.

    Sennheiser hd560s/599/598 cable

Other headphones share a similar connector, but as far as I know the sennheiser is unique in the headphone connector part being 4 cores instead of 3 as on other headphones like the m50x

Why make people you are asking for help guess?

More info is needed. Very few of us are actually mind readers.

All Sennheiser cables are the same which is a 2.5mm to 3.5mm headphone jack but they’ve a particular twist & turn proprietary hook that doesn’t allow third-party ones (which I found out the hard way) to enter the headphone side (2.5mm) without using theirs. The cables fray like Apple’s lightning cable and are of shit quality as well while priced a premium.

Not all of them have the twist and lock, I had a pair of pxc 550 that came with the 2.5 to 3.5 that didn’t have the locking groove and when I wanted to use that cable on a pair of HD450BT I had to cut into the cable to make it fit, another way to make a non proprietary cable fit is to snap the little nub that locks the cable in place

Aha! Fellow momentum on ear user! Sorry to say but that specific little twisty thing at the end of the 2.5mm part makes it so you can only buy a very specific replacement for it. Amazon has them, just write “momentum on-ear cable” and you should fine aftermarket ones.

I just realize that my HD598 and QC35 do use the same 2.5mm jack. Well, now I know I guess.
