I mean the headphones are usually $500 and the amp about $300.

So I guess yeah it’s a decent deal, assuming you were already in the market for the Aeon and also need an amp to pair it with.

Maybe a specific use case but it is a fine deal. Maybe not “insane”. I’d reserve that for something like audeze’s Black Friday deals, like when a year or so ago I grabbed an LCDX2021 for like $675.

For the right person it’s a good buy, I’m just not sure there’s many.

Asgard 3 with the 9028 module is $379. Aeon RT is $499 at DCA. So you’re saving about $200 on this bundle if you specifically want both.

I ended mine with only $900. My second hand heddphone 1 has genuine mind blowing flagship level performance in the treble and upper mids, excellent midrange and decent bass performance. Only headphones which beat it are he1000se, susvara, Stax or abyss, and they only do significantly better in the bass region.

It’s not a bad deal, but not insane. If you were already looking at the Asgard 3 with an internal DAC and the Aeon (or headphone like it), I could see going for it.

I have an Asgard 2 and a Modi DAC and like them (used with HD6XX and Ananda). Wish I had gotten an internal DAC for the Asgard at the time.

Pretty good deal yeah; about 25% off. You save a couple hundred. Not anything crazy though it’d have to be over 30% off for a deal to be “crazy” imo

Been interested in Asgard 3 for 2-3 years now. Seems like a solid no bullshit amp. The only thing stopping me from getting it is the shipping cost and custom tax in my country. I also have a really decent amp now.
