does anyone have any good recommendations of where to go about finding someone to refurbish a 1960’s Capeheart console system?

I have one that belonged to my Grandoarents that my Granny gave me about 10 years ago, it gets power but the turntable and 8-track won’t budge

we used to have local audio shops that dealt in such things but those have slowly gone the way of the buffalo

so I’m at a bit of a loss

photo is one I googled as I can’t find a decent photo of mine (at work right now or I’d take a good one)

any direction would be much appreciated🤘🏻

dang, finding a pro for vintage gear is tough these days. maybe look for forums or Facebook groups for recommendations, or take a stab at some DIY fixes. good luck!

yeah I’m not a DIY guy. far too busy outside of the house. and also don’t use Facebook so sourcing from there is a no-go

I’m starting to think that maybe it’s better just as a really nice furniture piece and not an actual record player anymore

I greatly appreciate all of the advice everyone has given me though🤘🏻
